The Horrors of Blumhouse Halloween Horror Nights 2022 Poster

Blumhouse Productions, one of the most prolific and acclaimed modern producers of horror films, is bringing their unique scares back to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in Florida and California in 2022.

While the previous two incarnations of the Horrors of Blumhouse in 2017 and 2018 brought the Purge films, Sinister, Insidious films, and Happy Death Day to life, this year’s house will focus on two of the company’s more recent films.

First is the body swap horror comedy Freaky starring Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn. The Blissfield Butcher will likely take on both his original form (Vince Vaughn) as well as the form of high school student Millie Kessler (played by Kathryn Newton).

The other film is The Black Phone, the critically acclaimed film starring Ethan Hawke out in theaters tomorrow, June 24. Hawke plays the child kidnapper and serial killer “The Grabber” whose masked antics are sure to terrify Horror Nights fans.
