While there are plenty of big changes and attractions coming to Epcot over the next few years, a lot of smaller updates are coming very soon.
First in the Land Pavilion, the old Circle of Life theater will be home to a new film, Awesome Planet. It “showcases the spectacular beauty, diversity and dynamic story of our earth.” This will open in January 2020.
Next, the Canada Pavilion will get an updated film, Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360. It will feature new scenes and a new story, and is also set to debut in January 2020.
The France Pavilion will get a new a new film, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. It’s directed by Don Hahn who produced both the live action and animated films. The sing-along will be shown in addition to the popular film Impressions de France. And guess what? This is also coming in January 2020.
And last but not least, the China Pavilion is getting a brand new, seamless 360-degree digital film. It’s called Wondrous China. This film doesn’t have a premiere date yet.
These new film additions should help make the world of construction walls at Epcot a little easier to live with as the park goes through its massive transformation.
