The Hall of Presidents at Disney’s Magic Kingdom will officially reopen tomorrow, December 19, after a yearlong refurbishment and many months of delays.

The Hall was originally scheduled to reopen with its new occupant on June 30 in time for the July 4 holiday, which is a typical refurbishment timeline for this attraction. After several media reports of conflicts (some of which have since been retracted), Disney announced in June that a Trump animatronic was in development and that he would have a speaking role. There had been rumors that the Hall would reopen before the end of the year, but an official announcement just came in the last hour.

From the Parks Blog:

As has been the tradition with every new president since the attraction debuted, an Audio-Animatronics figure of President Donald J. Trump has been added to the show and features the latest advances in technology that enable smoother and more lifelike movements. President Trump personally recorded remarks exclusively for The Hall of Presidents, just as each sitting president has done for the attraction since the early 1990s.

It didn’t take long for video of the speech to pop up online.

Here are some more images and video from the show:

It appears that Disney had extra security on hand for the soft open.
