Happy birthday, Epcot! The #Epcot35 celebration begins this weekend, with the park’s official birthday on Oct. 1. Here’s what’s going on in that park and others around the globe this week.

Spaceship Earth cupcakes. They’re real, and they’re spectacular.

Disney Parks Blog shared this video, A Dream Called EPCOT, which played at Magic Kingdom prior to Epcot’s opening.

A celebration of Dia de Muertos has opened in the Mexico pavilion.

Over at Disneyland Paris, Halloween is here!

Due to its 25th anniversary celebration, most of the park’s Halloween decorations have been placed in Frontierland.

There are also a ton of new decorations themed to Disney Pixar’s Coco.

Over at Disneyland, Chef Oscar Martinez has retired. Chef Oscar was the park’s longest tenured employee and had worked at the park for 60 years. He had been a chef at Carnation Cafe on Main Street U.S.A. since 1967.

After a sneak peek prior to Hurricane Irma, Grand Avenue has officially opened at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
