Chase Freedom credit card holders get bonus points on select categories every quarter and this summer theme park purchases are included. The category select live entertainment includes the following theme parks:
- Busch Gardens
- Cedar Point
- Disneyland
- Walt Disney World
- SeaWorld
- Six Flags
- Universal Studios
This could be a great opportunity to renew that annual pass, buy theme park tickets, or more. In addition to theme parks, concerts, museums, zoos, theatrical productions, sporting events, aquariums, and circuses are also eligible. This is available on purchases from July 1 to September 30. There is a $1,500 limit on purchases eligible for the bonus 5% cash back, but hey, that’s still $75 back.
The other cash back categories for July through September are gas stations, car rental agencies, and movie theaters, so summer fun and travel is clearly the theme.
