The Halloween season will be here before we know it and Universal revealed two more haunted houses this week that are coming to Halloween Horror Nights on both coasts this year.

First, get ready to enter the demented world of the Sawyer family in house themed to the 1974 horror film the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. If you haven’t seen the film, the utter weirdness of it is tricky to explain, but it should make for an incredible house. If you have the stomach for it (a lot of it is pretty gross), watch the film.

The other new house announcement is an original house based on the iconic Bride of Frankenstein character. Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives is the name of the story this year in which bride is attempting to bring Frankenstein’s monster back to life using whatever means necessary after he has pulled down the castle walls to destroy them both. This house will also feature the Brides of Dracula who she is attempting to drain to reanimate her monster companion. This sounds like a fun house full of great show scenes and certainly some great scares.

Both of these newly announced houses will be part of Halloween Horror Nights in both Orlando and Hollywood.

Stay tuned as there are still six houses left to announce for Orlando, one of which is likely to be last year’s Puppet Theater: Captive Audience, as well as all of the scare zones and the other live entertainment offerings.

Tickets for the Orlando event are on sale now.
