The Tropical Hideaway coming to Disneyland

The much-rumored redevelopment of Aladdin’s Oasis at Disneyland is finally happening. The space has mostly been used for a variety of temporary purposes over the years, but a new dining location themed to its surrounding attractions in Adventureland is coming.

Details are sparse, but Disneyland confirmed the new dining location will be called the Tropical Hideaway after the line in the signature song of the Enchanted Tiki Room, “welcome to our tropical hideaway, you lovely people you.” It sits between the Enchanted Tiki Room and the Jungle Cruise and will feature the “sights, sounds and flavors” of the tropics.

In the art above, you can see a tiki bird on a perch, a Jungle Cruise boat in the water, tables with outdoor seating, and more. It certainly looks like it will be a welcome change to the area once it’s complete that will make the area more open and hopefully help traffic flow.

There’s no timeline yet, so we’ll have to wait and see how long this project takes and what type of cuisine the area offers.
