Adventures by Disney expands to Japan, the Seine in 2019

While Adventures by Disney gears up for its busy summer travel season, Disney’s group travel arm has recently announced two new destinations.

Just yesterday at D23 Expo Japan, Adventures by Disney revealed that it will launch a Japan vacation in 2019. The itinerary will include visiting temples in Kyoto, learning sword techniques with a master samurai, and exploring Tokyo. While it wasn’t explicitly mentioned, we can only assume that travelers will also visit to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, making those parks the final ones to be included on Adventures by Disney itineraries. (A trip based at Walt Disney World and Central Florida launched in 2016 but was unfortunately short lived.)

In Europe, Adventures by Disney is expanding its partnership with AmaWaterways with a 10-day sailing along the Seine River in France, booking for 2019. The trip begins with two days exploring Paris by land before guests board the AmaLyra, sailing north toward Le Havre. Highlights include a visit to Monet’s gardens in Giverny, hiking the cliffs of Étretat overlooking the English Channel, visiting Normandy’s Omaha Beach, and a private tour of the famed Notre Dame cathedral.

If it’s anything like our experience sailing the Danube with Adventures by Disney, it’s going to be an unforgettable trip.
